The La Sportiva Akasha II trail running shoe builds upon the ever popular Akasha with incremental advances in durability, comfort, stability and with more environmentally friendly materials. 

The La Sportiva Akasha is built for long distances or as a training shoe and delivers the most cushioning and comfort while maintaining stability. It has amazing amounts of shock absorption as well as Sportiva's "Trail Rocker" which aids forward momentum under stride. If you like running long distances, or like the maximum amount of cushioning and comfort in a trail running shoe, then this is the one. 

Sportiva have updated a number of elements with the second version of the Akasha. It contains a number of recycled materials both in the uppers and the midsole. They've increased the durability of the shoe, adding more TPU guards to the uppers without compromising on weight. They've also managed to make the Akasha II even more cushioned via adding the new "Cushion Platform".
