Ex-racehorse can sometimes be persuaded to go & retrieve little Max, but only if he’s promised a juicy red apple or crunchy carrot as a reward. Max does love a good nap & cuddle after a big day of running away, however, so he will always be eager to snuggle into your lap in the afternoons.
